Me and my boyfriend went palms springs for holiday today, we found this on the yelp. You don't have too much choice but I thk it's already enough, and they taste good actually Also the most important is that the price is so cheap, definitely worth it!
Drove here from Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage because everyone recommended Oasis Buffet over Three Palms Buffet. It was good and since we're ACE club members we got lunch for $10. Service was great, selection was decent and I stuck to more veggies and salads and had no issues there. We were looking to have a big meal that tasted good before heading back on the road to go home and Oasis did it for us. I wouldn't recommend it for a fancy date, but definitely if you're hungry.
Thumbs up! Oasis buffet is hands down the best restaurant @ best value! At only $13.50 for dinner... you can't beat this deal in Pam Springs!! Regular dinner is only $14.99, and they offer a generous 10% discount if you get a players card. Service is pretty good here with friendly staff. They are attentive and clear dishes promptly. They check on you without being over- bearing. Very nice service staff all around. Chefs at each station are also very attentive and friendly. While selections may seem limited, they also offer (1) a cooked to order pasta station "Italian", (2) cooked to order stir fry noodle station "Asian", and a cooked to order burger station "American"... just one of these dishes + a drink is worth your price of admission! I can tell you that the stir fry at Oasis is better than the lunch noodle dish I had at a nearby Thai restaurant @ lunch for $16! Should have just came here for 3 meals a day! ;) Carving station offers the familiar: prime rib, turkey... they are decent. Salad bar, pizzas and desserts are all ok - not bad but nothing to write home about. Restaurant is roomy and clean. Again, everyone is friendly at this buffet. I especially appreciate the friendly station chefs. A special shout out to CHEF ARIEL... who was assisting us at the carving station... then he jumped to the stir fry station to assist us right after. He also served everyone with a smile. It's so nice to see someone enjoys their job... makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. OK food and great value earned this buffet a solid 3-stars... Added 1 star for unexpected good service for a buffet. Thumbs Up! :)
I have been to many buffets and for a buffet located in the Spa Resort and Casino that costs $9.99 for lunch you might think you'll be getting mediocre food. That is not the case. They have rotisserie, carvery station with tri tip or turkey, make your own pizza and pasta, grill station, Asian cuisine and Mexican food as well. Service is very nice and the decor is really pretty. Great price for the location and choices.
We first visited this buffet several years ago on the recommendation of a friend. We enjoyed it so much, we returned another night during our time in Palm Springs for a repeat dinner. On a visit a few years later, we did not enjoy it so much (combination of the price increase and decreased food quality) so we did not return again until recently. We stopped by this past weekend and were not disappointed. Stopping at the casino player's club, we got a card which entitled us to 15% off our meal - definitely worthwhile. We were seated promptly and then tied on the food bag. All food items were kept at the appropriate temperatures and everything we tried tasted good - no complaints. We did find it a bit difficult to handle some tongs as they became almost too hot from the steam table / heat lamps.
